      The Northwest Line JATC is recruiting to fill the position of Training Coordinator for our nationally recognized training program.  This full-time, salaried position will be based out of our Vancouver, WA office, but will require travel throughout the geographical area of the program. 

      Applicants for this position should have a passion for the advancement of the electrical construction and maintenance industry, and the ability to work as part of a team.  Good management and interpersonal skills, knowledge of current safety rules, regulations and practices, and the ability to work comfortably in a variety of situations is imperative. In addition to crew visits, apprentice instruction and journeyman training, position requires regular attendance at a variety of industry related meetings/committees.

      Resumes will be accepted by email only, through April 28th, to claudia@nwlinejatc.com; resumes will be reviewed and interviews scheduled in May.

      Unit Meetings - Bylaws Change Reading

      There will be additional meetings held in April for the Bylaws change reading.  The following Units normally meet on odd months, so they will be adding a meeting for April.  Meetings are as follows:

      Unit 107b - Tuesday, April 18, 2017

      Unit 119 - Wednesday, April 19, 2017

      Unit 135 - Tuesday, May 9, 2017

      Unit 150 - Thursday, April 20, 2017

      Unit 153 - Friday, April 21, 2017

      Location and time remains the same.

      Attention Unit 148 Members:

      Unit 148 is moving their meeting location to Ione for even months. Odd months will continue to be in Cusick. 

      The April 12th meeting will be at 6pm in the Ione Fire Hall located at 302 S. Central St. Ione, WA 99139 (corner of Central St. and Hambrook St. behind and southwest of Food Court).

      At the R2W for less SB5692 hearing, 2000 Labor Supporters crowd the capital grounds & hearing rooms.

      Below, please find a letter from International President Stephenson regarding Electrical Workers without Borders North America.

      The delegates to the 39th IBEW International Convention in St. Louis, Missouri unanimously passed Resolution No. 8 supporting the Electrical Workers without Borders North America (EWWBNA).

      Anyone interested in traveling out of the country to volunteer helping with this endeavor, please see the questionnaire below.  Please send your completed questionnaire via email to ibew77@ibew77.com, or you can mail or hand deliver it to Local 77.

      We will make sure that all questionnaires are delivered to the International Office.

      Attention Unit 152 Members

      The start time of unit meetings is changing to 6:00 PM while members are currently working 4-10's.  When members return to regular shifts, the start time will change back to 5:00 PM.
