On December 2, 2007 at approximately 10:00 P.M., a Grays Harbor PUD Crew suffered an accident. Two Journeyman Lineman were working in a bucket truck while repairing downed power lines. A gust of wind broke a treetop off and it hit the boom of the bucket truck. The boom broke off at the knuckle. Both men fell approximately 40 feet to the ground. Both men were hospitalized and one has been released. The other was transported to HaborviewMedicalCenter. It is believed at this time his injuries are not critical. The Line Crew was working Newskah Road between Aberdeen and Westport, WA.
